Kaufhold’s Kurds is a family run organization, based in the Cheese Curd Capital of the world, Ellsworth, Wisconsin. Our company proudly creates premium hand breaded Wisconsin cheese curds, and currently distributes to 49 states. Our team, and business, are growing rapidly and we are ready to bring the small town feel of comfort food to cities across the Nation.

ROLE SUMMARY

The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor will be a leader within the organization, having the overall accountability of managing second shift employees, in a variety of roles. This candidate will manage daily operations, such as supervising and scheduling staff in accordance with company policies and procedures. This position is full time. Monday – Friday from 2 PM – 10 PM.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Responsible for supervising the entirety of the production and sanitation processes to ensure that our product is of the highest quality.
• Lead and manage team members cultivating a positive work environment.
• Create and manage training processes for all production related roles. 
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, such as regulation through the State of WI, the FDA, the Food Safety Modernization Act, and OSHA.
• Ensure compliance with company food safety and quality programs and policies, such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (“HACCP”), Safe Quality Food (“SQF”) and other customer requirements.
• Conduct and complete Food Safety and Quality Assurance verification activities throughout the shift.
• Collaborate, and give input, with teams to determine or track production needs.
• Work closely with Management on food safety and quality assurance practices and standard operating procedures.
• Occasionally operating forklift and pallet jacks to pick materials for production or loading a shipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in management or related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of management experience in Food Manufacturing industry or Restaurant Industry, or another related field
• Strong background in Food Safety, HACCP/HARPC, cGMPs, and SQF.
• Ability to deliver specific organizational goals and effectively develop, grow, and manage a team to achieve objectives.
• Strong abilities in employee relations, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem solving, planning and process skills.
• Experience with MS Office suite.
