US Packaging is Hiring a 2nd Shift Quality Control Technician Near Elkhorn, WI

Job Overview:
Conduct tests to determine quality of raw materials, bulk intermediate, and finished products. Conduct sample tests, line checks, and label/lot code creation. Help with the flow of work by printing work instruction for the production line. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Shift: 2nd shift 6pm-6am rotational schedule 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on

Salary: $15.50 (based on experience) plus $1 bonus premium for attendance.

Primary Job Duties

  • Set up fill weights
  • Verify line materials and lot numbers
  • Line clearance verification after Production Supervisor has cleared the line.
  • RAF - Report as Finished
  • Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods.
  • Train other analysts to perform laboratory procedures.
  • Perform visual inspections of finished products.
  • Participate in internal assessments and audits as required.
  • Ensure that lab cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
  • Supply quality control data necessary for regulatory submissions.
  • Receive and inspect raw materials.
  • Perform validations or transfers of analytical methods in accordance with applicable policies or guidelines.
  • Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to established item specifications, standard test methods, or protocols.
  • Investigate or report questionable test results.
  • Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release.
  • Identify quality problems and recommend solutions.
  • Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms.
  • Calibrate, validate, or maintain laboratory equipment.
  • Compile laboratory test data and perform appropriate analyses.
  • Cleaning verification-swabbing
