POSITION: Substance Abuse Therapist

LOCATION: Woodland Drive, Elizabethtown, Kentucky

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have at least a bachelor's degree in a human services related field (psychology, sociology, social work, etc. required)
• TCADC, CADC LCADC, LCADC, LPCC, LPCA, LCSW, CSW, or LPA licensure (preferred but not required)
• experience in substance abuse counseling and residential treatment (preferred but not required.)

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TRAINING:

• provide group, individual, and family therapy sessions
• determine appropriate treatment interventions for each patient
• collaborate with each patient on a treatment plan
• help patients set and achieve their personal goals
• maintain records and provide documentation according to Stepworks policies
• develop continuing care plans
• serve as the first point of contact for patients’ behavioral issues
• participate in four hours of supervision monthly
• be prepared for crisis intervention, first aid, CPR (training provided)

SHIFT: Monday - Friday
