POSITION: Outpatient Substance Abuse Therapist

LOCATION: Elizabethtown, Kentucky

QUALIFICATIONS:

• LCSW, LPCC, or LCADC licensure required.
• Must be a master's level, independently licensed person
• Experience in substance abuse counseling and residential treatment preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TRAINING:

• Determine appropriate treatment intervention(s) to achieve patient's desired outcome based on type/severity of problem(s) as well as patient's motivation.
• Develop treatment plans in coordination with patients and other members of the healthcare team to establish goals and provide appropriate interventions to achieve objectives.
• Provide appropriate education and treatment services including group and individual sessions and monitor progress.
• Be able to provide clear, precise documentation of all treatments and maintain records per company policy.
• Collaborate with the Treatment Team in developing continuing care plans.
• Be the first point of contact for behavioral issues that arise with patients.
• You will also receive training in crisis intervention and standard first aid, including CPR.

SHIFT: Monday - Friday: 8 am - 5 pm, but varies with evening ‘Group’ sessions.
