Established in 1882, Southside Market & Barbeque is the oldest barbeque joint in Texas! For over 135 years we've stayed true to our heritage. We are currently looking for a Controller who can grow with us. 

Reports to: CFO.

Work Schedule: 8.00 –5:00, M-F (This is an exempt position and is flexible as such)

Primary Functions: This position is a key contributor of information, leadership and decision-making. They handle all accounting needs of the Southside family of companies, including all financial reporting.

• Oversees and ensures the accuracy of the full cycle of accounting duties in NetSuite and other supporting systems.

• Oversees system integration as it pertains to NetSuite. (i.e. mfg. software, HRIS, POS, and scheduling software). 

• Manages all aspects of the standard cost system

• Prepares and ensures accuracy of all financial statements on a monthly basis

• Serves as a NetSuite Administrator.

Education and/ or Experiance:

• Netwuite experiance required

• 7 years accounting experience.

• Minimum of Undergraduate degree in accounting or related field required.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with emotional resilience and a positive attitude.

• Ability to effectively relate and communicate with a diverse workforce.

• Be a collaborative consensus builder who works well with others.

Must be able to pass a Background and Department of Motor Vehicle check
