Our partner, an industrial distribution and manufacturing company located in the Philadelphia metro area, is immediately seeking a Branch Operations Manager for their Elgin office. The Branch Operations Manager will be responsiblefor timely compilation and maintenance of performance metrics for the facility and its personnel.

Branch Operations Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead, monitor and provide guidance to facility staff to enhance performance, manage operating costs and boost productivity
• Oversee the reception, storage, quality control and reconciliation of all inventory within the facility
• Manage paperwork processing and ensure timely transmission of data to relevant internal parties
• Notify the Fleet Supervisor of any truck or vehicle maintenance issues and assist in coordinating local repair efforts
• Establish and enforce policies and procedures while tracking facility performance metrics, including incident logs, service failures and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
• Manage fee applications, lead times, quality control measures and other operational aspects
• Maintain the cleanliness, upkeep and functionality of the facility and its equipment
• Assist customers, carriers and contractors as needed within the facility
• Offer consultation and recommendations regarding the performance of personnel and equipment within the facility
• Supervise and implement Security, Health, Safety and Regulatory compliance protocols at the facility
• Liaise with Human Resources regarding performance matters, disciplinary actions, staffing requirements and associate hiring or termination
• Organize monthly meetings and training sessions for drivers and warehouse staff, as well as additional training sessions as necessary

Branch Operations Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred

• 4 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role
• Valid driver's license, CDL preferred
• Excellent organizational, problem solving and strategic thinking skills
