Job Overview
The IT Manager is a high-profile position within the company that will lead IT related tasks/projects with various skill sets to help improve and maintain essential IT operations. This includes operating systems, security systems & tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, hardware, data and related requirements, process, and procedural documentation.
Responsibilities for IT Manager
· Manage all aspects of TRICOR’s IT infrastructure, network, and electronic data.
· Lead all IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
· Manage and interface with 3rd party IT security and service providers.
· Monitor performance of IT systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
· Define, develop, document, and manage appropriate requirements, processes and procedures used to:
o service, maintain, and utilize IT systems to meet applicable requirements from outside standards as well as departmental or customer needs.
o secure IT systems (and data) to meet applicable IT security standards
· Handle business-critical IT tasks and system administration.
· Troubleshoot hardware and software internal IT and related issues; and where needed work with 3rd party IT security and service providers to rectify in a timely manner.
· Perform server administration tasks associated with MS Active Directory, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.
· Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, licenses, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
· Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
· Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.
· Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including backups.
· Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software.
· Support and administer remote locations and employees.
· Lead IT outage recovery efforts.
· Develop 3 and 5 year IT infrastructure plans.
Qualifications for IT Manager
· Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
· 4 years of experience working in IT operations.
· Experience with administrating MS Active Directory.
· Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
o Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
o Ability to influence and communication skills necessary to function as a change agent.
· Strong working knowledge of computer systems and electronic data, security (NIST 800-171 Rev 3, DFARS, CMMC, or equivalent), network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.
· Solid reputation of operating inside an organization as a partner and trusted advisor.
· Personal foundational qualities that are essential for this position includes:

o Strong interpersonal skills (verbal, listening, written and non-verbal communication) to work with any user, vendor or customer with calmness, courtesy, respect, and resolve.

o Strong ability to organize, create, and maintain requirements, processes, and procedural documents and associated data.
o US Citizen, MUST meet any DFARS, ITAR and CUI Data Handling authorization requirements.
Position Details

o Monday thru Friday; anticipated hours on-premises: (7am – 430pm)
