Job Description:
Performs wide range of Ultrasound procedures on patients of varying ages, completes all associated tasks and responsibilities necessary to manage patient care needs while patient is in Department for procedures. Assists in the development and the monitoring of department specific systems and in the coordination of activities that improve the quality of patient care in the Diagnostic Imaging Services.
Required Skills:
Work Experience:
Two years of work related experience required.
License/Registration/Certification:
ARDMS (American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) in SPI (Physics) and any combination of Two of the following certifications: ABD, OB/GYN, VT, BR, FE, MSKS required.
(or)
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in Sonography S: VS, BS certifications are required.
CPR Certified.
Education and Training:
Associates of Applied Sciences in Ultrasound required.
