Rio Grande Bible College is seeking an experienced and dedicated Janitorial Cleaning Services Supervisor to lead our team of student workers in cleaning and maintaining our facilities. This role is essential for ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our students, faculty, and staff, overseeing the cleaning of classrooms, academic offices, floors, dusting, trash removal, mopping, and other cleaning tasks. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, this position requires working with students both spiritually and in evaluating their work, providing mentorship and guidance in their spiritual and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the cleaning team, ensuring effective cleaning and maintenance of all campus facilities.
• Train student workers in proper cleaning techniques and procedures, equipment use, and safety measures.
• Schedule cleaning tasks and assign student staff to different areas as needed.
• Regularly inspect facilities to ensure cleaning and maintenance standards are consistently met.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, placing orders or requests as necessary.
• Evaluate the performance of student workers, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
• Foster a positive and spiritually enriching work environment for students, integrating biblical principles into daily work and interactions with the team.
• Work closely with college administration to implement policies and procedures that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of cleaning services.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in janitorial service supervision, preferably in an educational or institutional setting.
• Spanish is required some English is preferred.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team of student workers.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, cleaning chemicals, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
• Commitment to the values and mission of an evangelical Bible college.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to mentor and guide students in their spiritual and professional development.
• Ability to maintain detailed records and manage inventories.
