Our CPG client is looking for a Creative Project Manager to add to their growing team!
This role is:

• Fully onsite 5 days/week in the southwest suburbs (flexibility allowed for appointments, etc).
• 40 hours/week
• Contract-to-hire (around 60-90 days prior to converting to full-time)

This is an exciting role for a Creative Project Manager that wants to be apart of a fully in-house creative and marketing team at a mid-size company.
The ideal Creative Project Manager:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Project Manager in a creative or marketing setting
• Experience working in the CPG industry is preferred, either in-house or working with CPG brands in an agency setting; someone who knows how packaging works
• Workfront experience is highly preferred. If not, experience in another PM tool to track and monitor.
• Experience as a Project Manager leading cross-functional workstreams
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and extremely process-oriented.
• Adaptable to change in a fast-paced work environment

Creative Project Manager Responsibilities include managing all creative projects from initial project kick-off through completion and evaluation. Projects you will manage include packaging, digital content, marketing strategy, other print / promotional materials, and more.
Primary Responsibilities include:

• Organizing and kicking off project work, while maintaining workflows and calendars to ensure project milestone dates are met
• Create, maintain and lead project plans; escalating issues as they arise, and communicating project status across the team. All communication and project updates are done through their PM platform, Workfront.
• Create and update project timelines, develop risk management, status reporting, and managing cross-functional interfaces to ensure deadlines are met
• Continually monitor and analyze project deliverables to ensure targets are met
• Vendor management: deliver and traffic final work to internal teams and external resources, obtain vendor quotes, and coordinate print projects to key vendors
• Organize and manage shipments, including booth materials and promotional items
