As a Leasing Specialist, you are the first step in creating a sense of community for current and prospective residents. You are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and using your sales skills to convert property tours to leases. Consider this role as the first line of defense for the property manager. This position reports to the property manager and requires strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions.

$18 -$ 20 hourly

• Answer the phone and respond to new/ current resident concerns and service requests
• Sell/Lease apartment inventory
• Greet all residents with a friendly customer service attitude
• Make sure leasing paperwork is completed properly and organized into appropriate filing systems
• Follow the marketing materials provided by the Property Manager to assist with resident retention
• May help with community events

• Minimum of 6 months' experience in the Multifamily industry
• Knowledge of property management software like Yardi, OneSite, or BlueMoon (or other equivalent software)
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
• Weekend availability
• Maintain a friendly and customer service-oriented approach to co-workers and customers
• Ability to assist the property manager with marketing efforts, resident retention, and/ or community events
