Optometric Team Member - Receptionist
We are seeking a detail oriented and outgoing receptionist with experience in providing excellent customer service.This position within our team interacts with patients, doctors, and team members. They are the Director of First Impressions typically being the first team member patients interact with, in person and on the phone.
Do you have a contagious smile? We are looking for a fantastic team member that will become part of our fast-paced optometric practice, someone who is energetic and motivated. A successful candidate must have exceptionally strong people skills. We need someone with an incredible work ethic, computer competency, and great communication skills. A commitment to customer service is the top priority for this position.
Some tasks that are performed regularly are answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, checking insurance eligibility, helping in maintaining charts and greeting patients. Other tasks may include:
We are looking for someone with a great personality who is a team player. Someone who can help us make our patient experiences memorable, who understands what is best for the patient is best for the practice.
Experience always welcomed although we will train the right candidate for the position. We offer a competitive compensation package, no weekend hours and major holidays off to spend with family and friends.
We are not in a hurry, we take our time in hiring, so be prepared there may be multiple meetings/interviews and meeting our team. Our team is truly awesome and we are looking for the next terrific fit!
