Security / Access Control Technician
This is a direct-hire, on-site position located in Syracuse, NY.
Security / Access Control Technician responsibilities for maintaining and servicing customers structured access control, security camera systems.
Responsibilities :
- Installs all equipment and cabling according to best practice and / or company procedures.
- Maintains customer Security, Access Control, and Camera Systems (some structured cabling) by troubleshooting, repairing, and fielding customer support requests.
- Works tickets in order of assignment and plan by the dispatcher.
- Appropriately documents / updates all information related to work performed.
Requirements :
- Considerable knowledge of the installation, maintenance and repair of structured cabling, access control and camera systems.
- Required 3-5 yearsÂ’ experience overseeing projects and ability to read, understand and execute a scope of work in detail.
- Previous phone system certifications or training a plus.
- Must have reliable means of transportation and valid driverÂ’s license.
This Position is paying between $47,000 and $65,000 based on experience.
