Title : Manufacturng Production Planner (Contract / On-Site).
This is an on-site contract position located in Syracuse, NY.
Must be a US permanent resident or citizen we are unable to sponsor. No C2C
Core Responsibilities :
- Outline and chronicle the facilities, equipment, and tooling necessities for all new and current products.
- Formulate cost estimates for instituting new and revised methods and processes.
- Develop and blueprint testing activities for the evaluation of tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Conduct ongoing analyses of products and processes to pinpoint opportunities to curtail costs, elevate quality, and ameliorate efficiency.
- Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new and enhanced products by establishing goals and timelines, training production personnel, and assessing results.
- Serve as primary technical authority for assigned manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling.
- Investigate solutions to technical predicaments and recommend cost-effective resolution approaches.
- Partake in large-scale engineering undertakings by completing manifold tasks.
- May execute other duties and special projects as assigned by supervisor.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience within an Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering capacity.
- Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing methods and processes, including flow, layout, and equipment (assembly and production).
- In-depth comprehension of lean manufacturing techniques and manufacturing quality tools.
- Thorough understanding of plastics design and molding processes.
- Advanced mathematical aptitude including the use of logarithms and quadratic equations.
- Advanced computer skills encompassing the utilization of CAD software.
- Fundamental management skills, including planning and organization, decision making, problem solving, and project management.
- Stellar verbal communication skills, including group presentations.
- Ability to establish and nurture effective working relationships with managers, supervisors, and employees.
- Capability to prepare intricately written reports and other documentation.
- Ability to comprehend complex verbal and written directives.
Pay : $35 / hr - $45 / hr based on skills and professional experience.
