$5,000 Sign On bonus & Relocation outside of 50 Miles

Job Purpose

Assure die's produce quality parts thru :

Preventative maint.

Die maturation

Die repair

Daily trouble shooting

Key Accountabilities

• Work on daily activities as assigned by the Team Leader.
• Respond to equipment / die downtime and recovery issues.
• Monitor equipment / die for potential problems identification
• Perform quality & running efficiency improvements to the dies
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance plans & activities.
• Perform zone inspections.
• Perform all phases of equipment troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and / or pneumatic systems.
• Maintain COP of work area and department issued tools.
• Observe and promote all department safety policies.
• Quality confirmation of completed work.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Educational Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum Experience

Minimum of three months experience in the mechanical and / or die mold maintenance field (including Co-op experience) preferred.

Other Job-Specific Skills

• Application of engineering and manufacturing principles
• In-Depth understanding of manufacturing processes. (AF, PA, WE, ST)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic 2D and 3D CAD tools.
• Strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively both with customers and internal project teams
• Business acumen in a technical environment

Manufacturing environment

Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift long term.

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, daily overtime and off shifts as needed.

Shop environment, welding, grinding, handwork on dies
