Position: Property Maintenance Supervisor

Duration: Permanent

Location: Lansing, MI

Salary: $30 - $35/hr

Qualifications

· Expertise with on-site maintenance management

· 4-5 years of maintenance experience in multi-family/residential properties

· 1-2 years in a supervisory background.

· HVAC certification is required

· Detailed knowledge of make-ready unit turns, including light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical.

· Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and be able to travel to other properties if needed.

· Must have a basic set of tools.

· Responsible and reliable with a positive, "get the job done" attitude.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Certification: HVAC certification is required.

Duties

· Supervise other maintenance and grounds personnel.

· Oversee ongoing maintenance needs, including preventative maintenance and repairs.

· Coordinate with vendors for contracted services, including capital improvement projects.

· Prepare apartments for make-ready turns.

· Perform general maintenance duties as necessary.

· Respond to after-hour emergency calls and perform on-call duties.

· Handle snow removal and maintain grounds, including common areas.

· Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC and other mechanical systems.

· Complete work orders for service requests, including plumbing, carpentry, and light electrical.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
