International Motor Group is expanding and is in need of a Service Advisor / Writer

Overview:
We are seeking a Service Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in service writing, mechanical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills.

Duties:
- Communicate with customers to determine vehicle issues and maintenance needs
- Prepare service estimates and quotes for customers
- Schedule appointments and manage service orders
- Liaise between customers and service technicians to ensure accurate vehicle diagnostics and repairs
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the service process
- Utilize auto estimating software to generate repair quotes
- Assist with sales of additional services or products as needed

Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess some or all of the following skills:
- Previous experience as a service technician, mechanic, or in tire service
- Strong mechanical knowledge to accurately assess vehicle issues
- Proficiency in service writing and communicating technical information to customers
- Familiarity with oil changes, transmission services, and other common automotive maintenance tasks
- Ability to estimate repair costs accurately using auto estimating software
- Experience in auto service management is a plus

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
