As an Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around optimizing employee performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and maintaining exceptional customer service. You’ll be the driving force behind creating a positive work environment, streamlining processes, and achieving business goals. The Operations Manager will be the linchpin in achieving a harmonious balance between employee satisfaction and efficient restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Efficiency

-Ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.

-Checking, logging, and ensuring there are no deficiencies in inventory of food and beverages.

-Optimize workflows to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.

-Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards to meet customer expectations.

Financial Management

-Develop and manage budgets, controlling costs related to labor, food, and other operational expenses.

-Analyze financial reports and identify areas for improvement.

-Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

Compliance and Safety

-Uphold health and safety standards, including food handling, sanitation, and fire regulations.

-Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

-Maintaining all systems present in the physical facility, including: appliances, draft system, bathrooms, grease interceptors, pest control, etc.

-Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and adherence to guidelines.

Staff Management

-Implement effective scheduling practices to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while minimizing labor costs.

-Assisting active staff in tasks as needed

Prerequisites:

• Certified Food Protection Manager (ServSafe) License valid in the State of Illinois
• Illinois BASSET Certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in restaurant management or a related field.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
