CTG (Computer Task Group) is Hiring a Copywriter Near Durham, NC

CTG's top technical client is looking for a Copywriter to join their marketing team located in the Durham, NC area.

This is a contract role that has an opportunity to become long term/perm.

Job Description

In This Role You'll Get To:

  • Write for Personas across brand and product campaigns
  • Create headlines for marketing campaigns and product launches
  • Work side by side with our SME practicing CRO principals, identifying content gaps and building a strategy
  • Uplevel our current brand copy across marketing
  • Collaborate with internal and external agency partners, creatives, and marketing stakeholders to create best-in-brand content
  • Take a global mindset in your content development
  • Create and define copy across numerous projects at the same time

The Role Must Have:

  • 1-3 years of copywriting experience
  • Ability to connect the dots between consumer storytelling techniques and engaging business audiences — and understand business decision makers as consumers
  • A track record of creating breakthrough content for brands
  • A strong consumer of culture that knows what's currently happening in the world of content creation
  • Awareness of global trends and cultural differences in creative work
  • A desire to learn, grow, and collaborate

Some nice-to-haves for the role:

  • B2B and B2C copywriting chops
  • Knowledge and experience in both tech and product
  • Conceptual creative thinking and writing skills.
  • Experience working with Persado or willingness to learn.
