- Work days/hours: Mon-Fri 8am - 5 PM
- All workers need to be paid the same amount
- Hybrid role - 2-3 days a week at the office/remaining days remote
- LOCALS ONLY
- Looking for entry level engineering skills for data import project. MUST have some experience in Solidworks, but college degree is not required. This project will be continuous manual entry of design files (parts, assemblies and drawings) into Paratas PLM system
- Currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer, Design Engineer, or Mechanical Engineer Technician.
- Responsible for designing and developing components, mechanisms, systems and finished products or equipment.
- Review Solidworks CAD files (.sldprt, .sldasm, .slddrw) for general adherence to engineering standards.
- Collaborates with broader Engineering and Manufacturing team to create Solidworks assemblies of identified part structure.
- Manages part structure and complete Bill of Materials.
- Performs engineering change orders and manages design files within PLM system. Demonstrates basic knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles and practices. Demonstrates basic understanding of internal and external customer or business needs. Completes engineering tasks as directed by others.
- Applies good documentation practices.
- Creates and executes basic protocol under the direction of others.
- Independently tests, analyzes and solves basic technical problems.
- HS Diploma/GED required
- Solidworks experience a must: Zero (0) to two (2) years� experience.
- Has basic knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in a job family or skill.
- Applies knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations. Applies knowledge and skills to complete own work.
- Depends on others for instruction, guidance and direction.
- Develops competence in own area by performing routine work.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as a member of a team.
