Objective of job :
Conduct simple and complex tests on components / conduct cause analysis in problem cases.
Principal activities :
- Check the interaction of individual components and component groups to assure functionality.
- View test plans and drawing documentation.
- Identify and record any quality concerns.
- Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions to assure defect free quality. Conduct cause analysis and develop solutions in problem cases.
Root-cause analysis and problem solving methods)
- Conducts first piece approvals where appropriate.
- Sort out defective parts, taking into account DRX-specific requirements.
- Effectively communicate with supervisors any problems with safety, quality, equipment, and / or productivity.
- Support and maintain good housekeeping using the 6S principles.
- Be cooperative with co-workers in order to maintain a good working environment.
- Maintain all appropriate quality records.
- Perform audits and quality inspections.
- Serve on cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous improvement of quality.
- Conduct and assist in re-work where appropriate.
- Assist in defect tracking
