Westmark Enterprise is looking for a highly detailed and customer service orientated professional to join our team as a Collections Coordinator in our accounting department. This role is responsible for maintaining customer accounts, review and handle orders on credit hold according to company policy, support credit card processing, make collection calls to customers with past due amounts, establish and maintain relationships with Key Accounts. Hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Responsibilities of the Collections Coordinator!

• Checks and processes credit applications for new customers
• Establishes credit limits for customers by sending out credit references and reviewing payment history; refers to company policy for setting credit limits and uses discretion to divert from that; seeking manager approval when appropriate
• Secure and maintain record of sales tax exemption certificates for customers
• Applies daily cash/check/credit card and ACH payments and prepares bank deposit when appropriate
• Provide support and cross-train on credit card processing processes

• Someone who is not afraid of securing payments of any outstanding balances
• Someone with great verbal and written communication skills
• Someone who has prior Accounts Receivable, or collections related experience
