Allied Communications DBA Boost Mobile is Hiring a HR Generalist Near Dublin, OH

Nation's leading Boost Mobile dealer with 200 locations and growing, is currently looking for a HR Generalist in the Columbus, OH area. The HR Generalist must be dedicated and industrious, committed to accuracy in all transactions. The successful candidate will handle all payroll processing duties, employee benefits and compensation, as well as workplace disputes and legal situations. We need a responsible professional who cares about our team’s success.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the preparation, set-up, maintenance, audit, reconciliation, and processing of multi-state bi-weekly payroll with high efficiency and accuracy
  • Complete all HR/Finance reporting documents and submit them for senior manager approval
  • Prepare information for Worker’s Compensation audit.
  • Calculate and deduct appropriate amounts from payroll checks, including tax withholding's and other garnishments
  • Verify accuracy of approved time sheets and all overtime hours with the appropriate management personnel prior to issuing payroll checks
  • Obtain and verify direct deposit banking information from employees
  • Oversee internal payroll and accounting audits on a regular basis
  • Maintain general ledger regarding payroll transactions
  • Provide support/teamwork to other Coordinators for all payroll functions.
  • Administering and reviewing all benefits plans (e.g. medical, dental, vision)
  • Track and verify time off reporting.
  • Calculate commission payments for all company employees
  • Process stop payments, direct deposits reversals and off cycle payments
  • Act as liaison between the company and outside legal and professional resources to ensure that all employment policies follow current laws and regulations
  • Keeping process paperwork and employment records
  • Ensure the organization's compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3 years' experience in human resources, payroll, or accounting for a corporation
  • Strong, demonstrated proficiency with communication skills, influence, adaptability/flexibility, and building relationships.
  • Knowledge of local state and federal employment laws and procedures
  • Knowledge of wage and hour laws
  • Previous experience and proven ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex, difficult, and personal issues.
  • Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with employees at all levels and the general public.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel, PowerPoint, and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
