Job Description : Qualifications :
Qualifications :
Must have past experience operating forkliftspallet jacks etc.
Basic reading writing and math skills. Some familiaritywith PC a plus such as Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of Oracle or other ERP systemspreferred.
Educationrequirements can be obtained through an educational institution orgained through equivalent work experience.
Attention to detail.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Responsibilities :
Underdirect supervision ensures that all materials are handled storedand counted properly.
Demonstrate accountability in providing and sustaining apositive safety culture.
Unloads and loads materials.
Enters all material movement transactionsinto inventory control system.
Puts up stock per defined location procedures.
Uses query ofinventory control system for location of materials.
Pulls stock and / or sample kits.
May assemblematerial on pallets for customer shipment.
Performs cycle counts to verify recordaccuracy.
Createslabels and documentation to track material movement.
Train less experienced personneland new hires.
Operates pallet jack forklift company truck and othermaterial handling equipment.
This position is required to assure compliance ofCompany operations to all applicable laws regulations and standardsgood business practices and company documented procedures(including knowledge of all standards government occupationalhealth and environmental regulations and statutes related to thesite).
Planning and Decision Making :
Employee must manage daily work load and beself motivated.
Direction provided to incumbent by Manager.
Impact and Scope :
Employeemust always work in a safe manner.
This position works closely with fork liftschemicals and loading and unloading trucks.
Employees also deal with andimpact raw and finished goods.
Errors could result in injury lost time and financiallyimpact inventory.
Key Internal and ExternalRelationships :
Must have strong communicationskills and interact with both internal and external customers.
