We invite you to join an innovative and experienced team in one of the reliable internet industries in America.Summary: The Senior Accountant position is responsible for executing the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This position will utilize our policies and procedures to identify, resolve and document accounting issues.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Reporting

• Responsible for month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Prepare financial statements and related footnotes in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with the coordination of information to external auditors for annual audit
• Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
• Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
• Accurate and timely production of all financial information

Compliance

• Ensure the company complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and taxes

Additional Accountabilities

• • Perform cash projections to effectively manage cash balances
  • Proper analytical review of the asset operations from a balance sheet, income statement and cash flow perspective as well as an overall business perspective
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

EducationBachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration with emphasis in accounting. CPA license is a plus, but not required.Experience:

• • • 3 years’ experience in the accounting and finance sector, GAAP experience preferred
    • “Big Four” or national accounting firm audit experience is preferred but not required
    • Experience working for public company is a plus

Language Skills Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate technical financial concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
