Early Birds and Night Owls Child Care is a nonprofit 24/7 child care. We are in Ecumen nursing home and are set to open on March 11, 2024. We are currently hiring for various shifts to allow us to provide round-the-clock care for children and families during those nontraditional care hours. We’re looking for staff who have a desire to work with children and help them learn and grow. You must be patient, capable of following a schedule but also flexible enough to adjust based on the needs of the children, understanding and accepting.
Job Description:
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities to encourage intellectual and social development.
-Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children under your care.
-Implement daily routines and schedules to ensure children’s well-being.
-Monitor and supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities.
-Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and diapering as needed
-Collaborate with parents to address any concerns or special requirements.
-Follow daily lesson plan and menu.
Requirements:
-Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required.
-Knowledge of childhood development stages and appropriate educational activities.
-Ability to manage children’s behavior effectively and promote positive interactions.
-Must be willing to complete all required training, including Pediatric CPR and First Aid, AHT, SUID, Child Development, Supervising for Safety, and others. Training will be paid.
