NorthHill Technology is Hiring a MODEL BASED SYSTEMS ENGINEER (SECRET CLEARANCE) Near Denver, CO

NorthHill Technology Resources has a need for Model-Based Systems Engineers with a Secret Clearance to support a Federal Program. The roles are located in Denver CO, Dayton OH and Dallas TX.  Model-Based Systems EngineeringAs a Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer, you will deliver new capabilities to meet our customer's growing MBSE needs across the Digital Engineering value chain. You will serve in a crucial role as an MBSE advisor and provider of MBSE services to our client. This role focuses on the execution of the Model-Based Systems Engineering Global Practice vision, mission, and objectives to achieve the MBSE strategy for our client. This role is focused on customer delivery responsibilities but may also include internal capability development as part of the client's MBSE Launchpad. You will develop solutions to client's MBSE challenges, expand our MBSE digital service offerings across systems and software domains, and develop content to build internal capability to deliver new solutions. Key Responsibilities As a Senior MBSE Engineer at AMG you will work closely with a dynamic team of engineers and project teams to develop model-based systems engineering solutions for our client, collaboratively working with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize system designs. You will develop and maintain system models using industry-standard MBSE tools and practices to represent system architecture, requirements, behavior, and relationships. You will be responsible for preparing technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate engineering solutions and findings to clients and internal stakeholders. It is expected that you will stay up-to-date on the latest developments in MBSE methodologies and technologies to enhance your skills and contribute to the company's growth. Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in applying systems engineering principles and methodologies to complex systems, including 3 years of experience with MBSE concepts and tools (particularly Cameo/Catia Magic/Magic Systems of System Architect and SysML).
  • Knowledge of standard architectural frameworks, such as DoDAF and UAF.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and engineering practices.
Desired Qualifications
  • OCSMP Certification
  • INCOSE SEP Certification
  • U.S. citizen with an active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Professional knowledge of the Aerospace and Defense Domain
  • Professional experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Groovy and Python
  • Experience in MBSE Tool Model Validation Suites
  • Experience in MBSE Tool customizations and integrations
  • Experience with training/mentoring others in MBSE tools or modeling languages
 Work Location / Hours:
  • Dayton, OH, Denver, CO, Dallas, TX.
  • M-F, 1st Shift, Hybrid (TBD), Possible start date of August with an active clearance
