Job Title: Supervised Visitation Specialist (Parent-Child Monitor)
Roberts Family Resolution Services is dedicated to fostering positive family dynamics and supporting the well-being of children through court-ordered supervised visitations. We are actively seeking a reliable and dedicated Supervised Visitation Specialist to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Supervised Visitation Specialist, you play a pivotal role in overseeing court-ordered supervised visitations between parents and their children. This position demands a unique set of skills, including on-site observation, adherence to court deadlines, meticulous documentation, effective communication, and the ability to navigate complex family dynamics. You will be required to travel to various locations in your own car, including parents' homes and community settings, to work independently with visiting parents and their children.
Schedule:
- Saturdays and Sundays from 9:30 am to 8:00 pm (8 hours)
- At least two weeknights from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Note: This is not a traditional 9-5 role; flexibility and weekends are essential, as well as the ability to communicate thoroughly about clients and complete weekly reports before, during, and after visitations.

Responsibilities:
1. Observation and Documentation: Monitor and document each supervised visitation session independently, capturing crucial details, interactions, and dynamics between parents and children. Documentation will be required during each visitation.
2. Communication: Engage in daily communication with your manager and clients to schedule and confirm visitations, as well as address any specific needs or concerns. Utilize text and email to maintain consistent contact.
3. Travel: Use your personal vehicle to travel to and from supervised visitations, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for families. Travel time is compensated. You will not transport clients, only yourself.
Requirements:
1. Reliability: Demonstrate a commitment to reliability by consistently attending scheduled visitations and maintaining a dependable and professional presence in the lives of children. We are looking for a long-term team member who ensures their job responsibilities are always met.
2. Independence: Comfortably work alone, managing one-on-one interactions with visiting parents and their children in a variety of challenging family situations. Including their home, their car, and in the community. Ability to complete work without guidance and reminders.
3. Technology: Possess a reliable working laptop with Word for documentation during visitations and weekly meetings. You will bring your laptop to each visit.
4. Ability to Follow Established Procedures and Professional Conduct: Timeliness, meeting weekly deadlines, being available to communicate about clients, and being proactive without guidance is essential. Please note, if you have another job that is more than 10 hours per week, this will be very difficult.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 4 years of current experience in related fields.
2. Experience: Current work experience in child welfare, social work, domestic violence, victim advocacy, or mental health.
3. Professionalism: Showcase a stable professional background, exhibiting dedication to your role rather than frequent short-term job changes.
4. Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit strong interpersonal skills, managing complex family situations with empathy, sensitivity, and a focus on promoting a healing environment. Being able to communicate with your manager daily.
