As An CAD Designer You Will
- Have experience and working knowledge of the use of CAD and 3D Modeling software
- Have experience turning Designs, Fabrication, and Assembly drawings into usable CAD programs
- Have experience with the operation of various punch, press brake, and laser-cutting machines to deliver CAD/CAM programs for timely and accurate fabrication
- Have experience ensuring final Bill of Materials are complete and providing them to procurement
- Have manufacturing experience with sheet metal and structural steel
- Have experience collaborating and coordinating in a team environment across various internal departments, customers, and other organizations involved in large projects
- Three or more years design experience
- Associates Degree in Manufacturing Technology or similar discipline
- Certificate in CAD/CAM design
- Have experience creating programs for CNC machines, including press brakes, Trumpf Tru-Punch, and laser cutters
- Have experience with Fabriwin, AP100, Trunest, or similar CAD/CAM software
