Company Overview: TriStar Repair and Construction, TriStar Quality Roofing, and Mako Pools are leading providers of repair and construction, roofing services, and pool installation, respectively. As part of our commitment to delivering exceptional service, we are seeking a dedicated Financial Operations Coordinator to join our finance team.

Job Summary: The Financial Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Vice President of Operations to lead financial operations across all three businesses. This role reports to the Vice President of Operations, and involves overseeing accounts receivable, accounts payable, budget maintenance, and coordination of job financials with project managers.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations to manage financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and budget maintenance.
• Coordinate job budgets and financials with project managers to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project expenses.
• Assist in maintaining the company budget and financial projections, providing support to leadership as needed.
• Enter business expense receipts and invoices, as well as job cost of goods sold receipts and invoices into accounting systems.
• Reconcile financial transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Process monthly book closings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
• Assist in processing year-end data and preparing financial statements for audits or tax filings.
• Coordinate various office functions, including answering phones, responding to emails, and relaying correspondence.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• OR 3-5 years experience in financial operations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, or related roles preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Familiarity with accounting software and systems, such as QuickBooks or similar.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial transactions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.

Working Conditions

· This is an in-office position located in Denton, Texas. Candidates must be able to work from our office location during regular business hours.

· Relatively free from environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment.

Physical Effort

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
