We are looking for a Financial Accountant for our Deland, FL office!

Summary: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, group reporting and internal management reporting.

Essential Duties:

• Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place
• Prepare and monitor financial information/reports in the areas of
  • Fixed assets
  • Inventory
  • Group Reporting
  • Sales Tax
  • Banking
  • Freight
  • Other areas as required
• Assist senior finance management in month end closing tasks
• Identify process improvement opportunities and execute them
• Leverage the use of SAP/Power BI and other reporting initiatives that are implemented
• Travel to other locations may be required

Candidate must have a minimum of one of the following:

• CPA/CMA qualification or masters level in Accounting,
• SAP experience,
• large organization/multinational experience

Additional Education/Experience:

• BA in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering Management or a closely related field
• Five plus years of experience in an Accounting role
• Mathematically competent with strong analytical ability
• Prior G/L experience
• Knowledge of financial control, processes, and systems, as well as cost control, and budget management.
• Strong communicator of financial information to non-financial managers.
• Ability to exercise good judgment, problem solving ability, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret and adapt known methods, system procedures or operating concepts to new situations, and ability to identify and resolve related issues.
• Detail orientated

Computer Skills:

• Must be highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook
• SAP knowledge a plus

• Excellent telephone and oral communication skills
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
