Tri-County International Trucks - Dearborn is Hiring a Parts Manager Near Dearborn, MI

We are seeking a Leader to Manage and Grow our largest Parts Sales location. Working through a team to Manage, with a positive attitude, Parts Sales Planning, Inventory mix, Personnel Management and Customer Relations. The job is on site in Dearborn, MI.

The Dearborn store is currently seeking a Parts Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast goals and objectives for the parts department 
  • Hire, train, and monitor the performance of all parts department staff
  • Maintain inventory consistent with the requirements of the various departments
  • Create pricing guidelines for customer categories
  • Monitor and adjusts inventory
  • Guarantee all parts are properly tagged
  • Supervise stock order procedures
  • Work closely with service manager to ensure timely turnaround of parts needed
  • Provides technical assistance when necessary
  • Develop and enforce guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
  • Enforce safety requirements
  • Maintain a professional appearance

Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience in parts management
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Medium-heavy duty truck experience a plus
  • Technical automotive knowledge
  • Management experience and skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Good communication skills 
  • Basic understanding of inventory and reporting
