King’s Harvest is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The Veterinary Technician requires a strong knowledge of animal care and veterinary medicine. Responsibilities:

-Ability to discern medical emergencies, illness, and determine course of action

- Perform laboratory tests and analyze samples

- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarian

- Prepare cats for surgery and assist during surgical procedures

- Monitor anesthesia following surgical procedures

- Provide restraint to dogs and cats during examinations and procedures

- Maintain accurate medical records

- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology preferred

- Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT) is a plus; Previous experience working as a Veterinary Technician is highly desired

- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, procedures, and medications

- Proficiency in dog and cat restraint techniques

- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments

- Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and electronic

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
