King's Harvest Inc. is Hiring a Kennel Attendant Near Davenport, IA
King's Harvest No Kill Pet Rescue is looking to fill a Kennel Attendant position for someone who loves animals and enjoys rescuing them.
Please apply in-person at King's Harvest No Kill Pet Rescue located at 2504 W. Central Park Ave. Davenport, IA from 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday.
Duties: The Kennel Attendant is responsible for, but not limited to, cleaning and sanitizing cat cages/rooms, scooping litter boxes, cleaning/sanitizing dog kennels, cleaning yard and outdoor dog runs, filling food and water dishes, monitor health and well-being of animals, provide exercise and playtime for pets, assist with bathing and grooming, clean/sanitize common areas, restocking, and provide excellent customer service as needed.
Skills: The applicant must have the ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team. The applicant will need to have knowledge of basic animal care and behavior as well as the ability to handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately. The applicant will need to have physical stamina for deep cleaning, cleaning cages along the floor, as well as lifting heavy objects such as bags of food, litter, or large dogs.
Note: Prior experience working with animals is preferred but not required.
Please note that this position will require evening/weekend/holiday hours to accommodate the needs of the animals in our care.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
