The Meals on Wheels Driver operates and maintains the CW Resources Inc. van in transporting meals and supplies as assigned to and from job sites.
The driver will act as a liaison between customers and the kitchen, ensuring that all meals make it to our customers.
A valid drivers license and a 3 year clean driving record is required*
This position is part-time, Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 7 : 30am to 3 : 30pm and on call as needed Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Essential Job Functions
Take an accurate count of meals needed daily and loads necessary thermos and other food containers onto van utilized for delivery of meals
Check all containers to ensure that all sites are accounted for and that meals are loaded in a manner to avoid spilling
Deliver meals (congregate or individual) to assigned sites and addresses, including carrying food items into sites as directed
Maintain accurate record of deliveries, marking participants who are not at home
Picks up any pans ready to be returned
Transport Cambro food containers from one location to another
Clean Cambro food containers and other food containers daily
Clean and maintain vans as necessary
Complete pre-drive safety check daily and alerting Driver Supervisor of any problems
Log temperatures daily (every two hours; hot and cold meal(s) using the provided inferred thermometer and weekly temperature log
Follow Meals on Wheels Staff Guidelines that are provided
Complete job efficiently and in a timely manner
Support and assist kitchen staff as needed for meal prep
Receives complaints objectively and is polite at all times
Maintains a professional and pleasant attitude at all times
Perform any other duties as assigned
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job the incumbent will have to sit, stand and or walk for the majority of the shift.
The incumbent is required to regularly talk or hear while fulfilling the duties of the job. The incumbent may have to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move more than 75 pounds.
The incumbent must have a clean driving record as they may have to act as a backup driver.
Environmental Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.
The noise level in the environment can be loud depending on what kitchen machinery is in use.
