Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for a picker-packer position at a manufacturing company in Danbury CT. This is a temp-to-hire position.

The picker-packer is responsible for packaging completed assemblies, verifying pick lists, obtaining all necessary documents and shipping completed orders.

The hours are 7 a.m.-3 : 30 p.m., Monday-Friday. The pay is $20.04 an hour.

Job Responsibilities :

• Prioritize and arrange pick list based on commitment level to customers
• Use RF scanners accurately to pick items and quantities
• While packing confirm picked and package items in appropriate shipping container
• Follow all special instructions on pick list
• Operate shipping computer
• Assist in warehouse functions such as cycle counts and product placement
• Perform administrative work such as data entry, filing, order printing, label creation, order confirmation and tracking
• Operate material handling equipment

Job Requirements :

• Shipping experience
• Average manual dexterity
• Able to handle physical aspect of job, including moderate to heavy lifting
• Speak, read and write English
• Ability to use computers and other electronic interface equipment, such as scan guns
• Able to work second shift and overtime if needed
• High school diploma or equivalent
