Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will oversee the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in compliance with all regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of nursing staff, providing guidance and support
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Manage nursing shifts effectively to maintain optimal staffing levels
- Ensure accurate documentation review and compliance with HIPAA and Medicare regulations
- Oversee the coordination of home care services and acute care needs
- Utilize medical terminology proficiently in daily operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- RN License in the state of NJ
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing leadership roles
- Strong understanding of care plans, shift management, and documentation review
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and Medicare guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
