Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, and Foundation. This position offers the opportunity to work with an equipment rental and construction industry providing exposure to various financial concepts.

Duties

• Collect and verify and enter employee time on a weekly basis
• Calculate and submit Certified payroll for Government and commercial jobs.
• Enter and Maintain changes to employee payroll (Loans, advances, raises, etc.)
• Calculate and submit certified payroll through contractor websites.
• Submit weekly and quarterly payroll taxes through websites and banks.
• Experience in Foundation or other similar contractor software a plus
• Reconcile Quarterly and Annual taxes, file with agencies and distribute employee W-2's.
• Assist in administrative and other duties as assigned.
• Experience with construction payroll a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Administrative experience.
• 2 year payroll experience preferred (will NOT consider any candidate that does not have experience processing payroll).
• Attention to detail a must.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Proficiency in , QuickBooks, Foundation, or similar accounting software.
