Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Director of Accounting Operations at R.E. Garrison Trucking, Inc. The Director of Accounting Operations will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, internal controls and driving continuous improvement . This role is located in Cullman, AL, with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial statements
- Extensive knowledge and experience in accounting and finance
- Expertise in financial reporting and analysis
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools
- CPA or relevant certification is preferred
- Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus
