Summary of Position:
Assists the Retail Manager in the successful operation of the Retail Store in ensuring sales goals are met, inventory levels are appropriate, receiving is handled in a timely and accurate manner and all customer service standards are met in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership within the retail and receiving environment to maintain the consistent delivery of excellent products & services and uphold the highest level of guest and employee satisfaction
- Assist in providing timely and accurate financial retail reports, on a weekly basis
- Ensuring that all retail staff is trained, motivated and empowered to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Coaching and mentoring of employees should occur daily.
- Assist in regularly evaluating product performance and initiate modifications in conjunction with the Retail Manager, General Manager and HQ Director of Retail Operations
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to perform with the highest professional and ethical standards
- Must respond well to a changing work environment and able to perform at the highest level with minimal supervision
- Intermediate computer skills and Microsoft Office and familiarity with POS system functionality
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Majority of time will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment, in close proximity to other people
- Position involves frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and lifting 25 lbs. frequently, 50 lbs. occasionally
Education: Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university in Hospitality, Business or related field
Experience: Minimum 5 (five) years successful retail sales/business management POS experience
