Alloy Fasteners is Hiring a Sales account representative Near Cranston, RI

Our Cranston, RI location is looking for an experienced Sales Account Representative (manufacturing background a plus!)

There is some travel. You will be traveling to customer locations in the United States to provide customer service and perform physical inventory counts.

Your home base will be in Cranston, RI. If you are committed to providing world-class account service, acquiring and closing new customers, and wanting to be part of a winning team, apply today!

Your job will be to service current accounts, acquire new accounts, ensure excellent customer service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries, and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

  • To aggressively acquire new accounts.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with the current customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
  • Offer support and solutions to customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Travel to U.S. customer sites.
  • Manage inventory physically and digitally.
  • Be a part of a strong sales team and work directly with the VP of Sales.
  • Manage customer programs onsite (VMI).

Skills needed :

  • 2 years of proven sales experience.
  • Strong sales skills.
  • Effective telephone communication skills, with the ability to discuss and problem-solve situations.
  • Achieve and maintain rapport with customers and work to give them the best possible service regularly.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Goal-driven with the ability to work under pressure .
  • A positive and professional demeanor.

Manufacturing accounting and inventory system experience is a plus!
