We are looking for Sit Down Forklift Operators with Certificate
Pay Rate: $21/hour
1st Shift 8am - 5pm, with 1 hour lunch
Full time with possible overtime
Must be open to weekends
Weekly Pay
Interview is required
As a forklift operator you must be comfortable with lifting boxes at least 40 - 50 lbs by hand 50% of the time. And other assigned duties
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise within the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trailers or containers
- Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or distribution center
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts including cherry pickers and clamp trucks
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Ability to perform equipment repairs and maintenance as needed
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with materials handling in a warehouse setting
- Prior work in a distribution center environment
