A Medical Payment Poster is need immediately to support a Medical Facility in Covina. The Medical Payment Poster will be tasked with posting medical payments, cash posting, adjustments, and denials into the management system. The Medical Payment Poster will play a key part of the medical billing team and the candidate must have experience with lockbox. Responsibilities:• Accurate application and posting of medical payments, adjustments, and denials into the management system• Utilize lockbox and electronic remittance advice to ensure correct entries• Analyze and resolve payment discrepancies and execute necessary adjustments• Review explanation of benefits for accurate payment or denial reasons• Collaborate with billing and coding teams to correct and repost any corrections• Investigate and resolve unapplied payments• Adhere to and comply with federal and state laws in all aspects of payment posting and reporting• Utilize skills in Medical Billing, Medical Payment Poster, EOB - Explanation of Benefits, Cash Posting, Basic Medical Terminology, HMO PPO, MEDITECH in daily operations.
