Job Title: Social Media Specialist

Location: In Office, Corpus Christi / Sinton, TX. May require occasional travel to Houston and Midland offices.

Job Brief: We are seeking a talented Social Media Specialist to oversee and administer our company's social media accounts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging text and video content, managing posts, and interacting with followers to enhance our brand image and achieve our marketing objectives. Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the company website, ensuring it reflects our brand image and values.
• Oversee and manage social media accounts on platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and others.
• Administer Google accounts, including updating locations, responding to reviews, and engaging with comments.
• Conduct research on current trends and audience preferences to inform social media strategy.
• Design and implement social media strategies aligned with business goals.
• Set specific objectives for social media campaigns and report on ROI.
• Generate, edit, and publish engaging content daily, including original text, photos, videos, and news updates.
• Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics to optimize content performance.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
• Respond to follower queries and monitor customer reviews in a timely manner.
• Oversee the design of social media accounts, including cover images, profile pictures, and layout.
• Suggest and implement new features to enhance brand awareness, such as promotions and competitions.
• Stay informed about the latest technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.

Requirements and Skills:

· Confident and driven personality – take initiative to attend site visits or opportunities to document the CEC experience.

· Proven social media experience – either references or portfolio

· Website Maintenance and Google Business page administration skills

· Familiarity with electrical/construction or similar industry

• Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
• Experience in industries such as construction, industrial, electrical, or similar fields is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience in content management.
• Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video).
• Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
• Familiarity with online marketing channels and web design principles.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a relevant field.

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with graphic design software.
• Previous experience in managing social media accounts for B2B companies.
• Knowledge of paid advertising strategies on social media platforms.
