We offer a full continuum of care that provides treatment options to meet the individual needs of adults, adolescents, and children. We include a 148-bed inpatient acute and residential care facility, as well as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to individuals under the supervision of the charge nurse.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, promoting their well-being and comfort.
- Perform crisis intervention when necessary to address urgent medical or emotional needs of patients.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient behavior, and other relevant information as directed by the charge nurse.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and follow patient care plans effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized patient care area, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Assist with patient transportation and transfers as required.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families, demonstrating compassion and empathy.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures while delivering patient care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with the charge nurse and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Must completed approved CNA Training Program
- One-year prior psychiatric experience preferred.
- Must be certified by the State or multi-state certified.
- CPR Certification
- Knowledge of human behavior or principles of psychology preferred, including therapeutic relationships and processes.
- Familiarity with age-specific growth and development.
- Proficiency in limit setting and crisis and behavior management.
Salary:$40,000 - $65,000 per year
