Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Provide general information to clients, customers, and visitors
- Assist with special projects as assigned
Experience:
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and office management practices
- Experience as a medical receptionist is a bonus
- Computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new software systems
