Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health intern counselor to join our team for a temporary time due to our main clinician going on maternity leave. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting individuals with diagnosis recognized in the DSM-V and promoting mental health wellness.
Duties:
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of mental health professionals
- Operating the clinician's Grow Therapy portal
- Provide telehealth and inperson sessions
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
- Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques in patient interactions
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals on mental health wellness
- Knowledge of psychotherapy methods and crisis intervention strategies
- Familiarity with medical documentation and case management
This position will be for 3-5 months and offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals struggling with mental health challenges. This position offers the opportunity to gain experience in the field of private practice with the supervision of two licensed mental health counselors .
