Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Creation of data analysis tools to uncover business issues and support strategic initiatives.
- Building efficient models using internal and external sources to help stakeholders make data-driven business decisions and identify actions to rectify business problems.
- Provide research & analysis support for competitive insights and macro-economic factors.
- Work with the Business Intelligence team to automate approved data analytic models for regular reporting.
- Deliver accurate and on-time reporting on KPIs.
- Continually evaluate business and recommend analyses to highlight areas of opportunity that will improve company performance.
- Prepare presentation documents and assist in presenting findings to cross-functional team members.
- Bachelor's / Masters in Math, Data Analytics, Finance, Statistics
- Data modeling in Power BI/Power Pivot - required.
- 3-4 years of experience in Business Analytics
- SQL Programming required; R / Python a plus
- Ad hoc exploratory analysis; Hypothesis testing
- Statistical analyses (predictive and prescriptive)
- Visual Aesthetics to communicate insights effectively.
- Storytelling with data – experience with insights extraction & articulation - required.
- Ad hoc reporting that can be refreshed, adapted.
- Building user-friendly models, that are adaptable and robust enough to become legacy tools
