We are looking for a diligent Credit Clerk to join our team based in Coppell, Texas. This role centers around the management and processing of customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving credit-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will be adept in the accounting industry, with a focus on accounts payable processes, invoice reviewing, and vendor management.Responsibilities:• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner• Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure accuracy• Address and resolve customer credit inquiries efficiently • Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments• Handle the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice entry, coding, and payment processing• Review incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with purchase orders and contractual agreements• Maintain vendor records, including contact information, payment terms, and banking details• Maintain comprehensive documentation of accounts payable transactions, including invoices, payment records, and supporting documentation• Utilize accounting software systems proficiently to perform accounts payable tasks, manage vendor information, and generate reports as needed• Collaborate with the procurement team to support purchasing activities, including vendor selection, purchase order processing, and invoice validation.
