Key responsibilities As an Investment Professional, you will work with multiple aspects of our Maersk Investment Practice; financial modelling and development of business cases, project management and -due diligence as well as developing best practices used across the company. Collaboration is central to your role and you will be working closely with stakeholders across all of our business, spanning Commercial, Operations, M&A, Strategy, Finance and Executive Management. Through cross-team cooperation we strive to cover all relevant perspectives of our many investment projects – ultimately ensuring a holistic view on strategic fit, financial attractiveness and risk profile. The work requires a strong sense for detail and a challenger mindset to constantly improve our business and investment decision making. You will be reporting to the Head of Investment Analysis – being part of our strong team of Investment Professionals with influence and involvement directly towards the Maersk CFO. Given the nature of a global company making investments across the world, there will be some opportunities for traveling. Who we are looking for The ideal candidate is a professional with 2-5 years of experience within the fields of Corporate Finance, Investments or Consulting. A broad understanding of finance and business acumen is vital. Although experience in valuation and financial modeling is preferred, what matters most is your genuine interest and eagerness to learn and over time become an expert in these fields. Beyond an analytical mindset, a self-starter mentality and relationship-building skills are equally important. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills are crucial for collaborating with the diverse and international teams at all levels of the organization. The corporate language is English, so you should be fluent in oral as well as written English.
